We’re breaking with the normal inspirational videos on how to build your dreams, overcome fear, create wealth etc. This video is one I watch a few years ago and was deeply moved by. It is the type of video we all need to watch at least a few times a year so we can in inspired to take stock of what we have, be grateful for it, for every moment and to make the most of our lives.
Randy Pausch was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in Sept 2006, he decided to use his time spreading messages of hope, messages to inspire people to live their dreams, but mostly, he wanted to leave a message for his three young children. He was a 46yr Associate Professor of Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, and Design at the time.
Randy became internet famous after a lecture he gave at Carnegie Mellon University, coincidentally call ‘The Last Lecture,’ with the premise of, what would a lecturer say if he had one last lecture to give, went viral.
This video isn’t the ‘Last Lecture’, instead i’m sharing an ABC interview with Randy and wife Jai, after ‘The last lecture,’ and a few months before he passes away in July 2008, aged 47. A beautiful man that lived a more joy-filled life than most, sharing some absolutely priceless truths that we all need to live by.
Get the tissues out, don’t take note, just listen and feel inspired, then go hug and kiss all the people you love and start living out your dreams.
Have a wonderfully blessed day,
Wishing you an abundant day,
