I feel like I have just been through a wonderful meditation. Such tranquility and peace are flowing through me right now.
Do yourselves a kindness and listen to this entire video.
Marianne Williamson, a published author of 11 books and is a spiritual teacher wrote one of the most often used quotes, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure,” often attributed to Nelson Mandela.
She is a student of A Course in Miracles among other teachings. About seven years ago I was recommended to buy The Course and work through it. I have to admit, I really struggled, I wasn’t ready, I was still in the depths of grief after my sisters passing but I am now inspired to dig the book out again and journey through its wisdom. I will attach a free copy for you to download below.
Marianne reminds us that being happy within ourselves, how we show up from within who we are is the most satisfying and healing experience. Being at peace with who we are and aware of our power to just be and move through life being present, being open and seeing the plan that is working through us. As Marianne says, God is the electricity, we are the lamps, He can’t do anything for us that doesn’t come through us. Where we are and where we have been mentally, emotionally, spiritually will determine how Gods plan can come through us.
If we want the world to change, we have to each individually change. Marianne shares with us that A Course in Miracles says, ‘The Holy Spirit has a highly individualized curriculum for every human being,’ and explains that each of us has a unique set of circumstances and experiences that we can shine our light on and heal if we recognise our power to do so instead of being stuck in our individual wants and needs.
How about I let you listen and be soothed by her words!
